Founder’s Insight
Talesta was founded in 2025, but its story began years ago — in the summer of 2016. That’s when I joined a software house that also operated as a sourcing and staffing company, and had my first opportunity to work with a U.S.-based offshore client as a Principal Software Engineer.
Since I had already worked with a U.K.-based offshore firm, I was comfortable with the client collaboration. However, the business model was entirely new to me, and it sparked something deeper. Unlike traditional software houses I had worked at before, this model had a layer of support and coordination — managed communication between talent and clients, conflict resolution, time management, reporting structures — all ensured smooth service delivery.
Over time, I started analyzing it more critically. I asked myself: what features could help businesses gain more trust, more value, and make the investment more worthwhile? And what could help talent deliver higher quality work with more efficiency and stay engaged for the long term? These questions became the foundation of an evolving vision. Over the years, I kept shaping and reshaping this vision in my mind — quietly building Talesta long before it had a name.
Finally, when I completed my last contractual role in February 2025, I decided to turn vision into action. And so, Talesta was born — not just as a company, but as a commitment to a smarter way of building and engaging global tech teams. This isn’t just my story — it’s Talesta’s DNA.
